Big City Bastards (Draft Version/Jam)

My First Game Jam Summer 2021

Disclaimer: This game is a major draft, as drafts can be... I am participating in the game jam with the goal to have maybe 30-60 min playtime at the end. There's looooots to do. So at the moment (I am at the very beginning) it's not really uploaded for enjoyment, but for critics.

At the end of the jam, there should be:

• story progressed till week 1 ingame (approx. 10% of full game??)
• have some choices and consequences
• most character artwork needed for that
• some music and soundeffects
• find a way to produce background artwork faster




About the game!

A visual novel where you start your life in a new city.

Play as Ellie who, kicked out by her parents, finds a  job in a city that is new to her. Get to know lots of friends and make new enemies. Meet up to 7 Love interests, (male & female, but the number depends on how well I do...) who might have their secrets. Find lots of endings,  be they good or bad. Embrace the weirdness....








Lots of choices, endings and ways to die are planned. I hope to release the game bit by bit, but it could take some time... xB
